Widget graph normally contains data for 8 dates. However, when User date is ahead of CleanTalk date (for users in Australia for example), the graph contains 9 dates with 0 (invalid) data for the oldest date.

Perhaps it would be good to adopt UTC for time and date at CleanTalk, or at least restrict the graph to the latest 8 entries.

    Hello @mountbest,

Unfortunately, we are unable to reproduce this issue.

Please, deactivate the CleanTalk plugin with the Complete Deactivation option:
WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> Advanced Settings —> enable “Complete Deactivation” —> Save Changes.
Plugins —> Installed plugins —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> Deactivate and Activate

This option will reset all plugin settings. Don’t forget to insert your access key.

    Did it help?

    It did not help.

I only see this 9-value graph if I “refresh” the widget in the morning before 11 am AEST. If I am happy to look at outdated graph – everything looks normal.

When I refresh the widget after 11 am AEST the graph returns to its normal appearance.

I can reproduce it every morning on all websites that use AntiSpam plugins.

Also, some log entries at CleanTalk dashboard marked “today” is actually yesterday in Australian AEST time zone.

If you want to serve customers in different time zones without confusion you should use “today UTC” and “yesterday UTC” to specify which timezone date you actually use.

Could you please clarify. Before 11 is it 10 or 9? Because 10 is the new UTC date and 9 is the old date.

At the moment Melbourme in Australia is on AEDT (daylight time) which is 11 hours ahead of UTC.

So, In Melbourne, the date change occurs 11 hours before UTC date change.

After 11 am the local Melbourne date and the UTC date are the same. Between midnight local Melbourne time and 11 am, Melbourne date is 1 day ahead of UTC date.

You can select a timezone in your profile settings. This should help.

We have implemented a restriction in the plugin so that more than 8 columns are not displayed. All the changes made will be included in the next official release.

    Please, reinstall the plugin.
Go to WordPress Administrator Panel → Plugins.
Find the “Anti-Spam by CleanTalk” plugin → Deactivate, then Delete.
Download the plugin archive from here: https://github.com/CleanTalk/wordpress-antispam/releases/download/fix-version/cleantalk-spam-protect.zip.
Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
Choose the downloaded archive and press “Install Now”.
