Widget blog last entries

Hello

I’m migrating from ning to buddypress and it’s not easy the change.
I am looking for a widget that shows the lastest blogs post published, but not only the title, with a preview of the content (like 200 caracters). The same for forum post.

I searched in wordpress plugin directory but I can’t find it. Do you know any plugin for me?
