• I have a CONFLICT with 2 plug-ins we are using that causes the Widget Area in WordPress 3.6.1 to be ‘uneditable or locked-up’.
    WP Glossary (v3.1)
    and
    Social Media Icons Widget (v1.2.7)

When these are BOTH active, the widget section is unresponsive.
By disabling one or the other, I can edit widgets. So I was able to add info to the ‘Social Media Icons Widget’ by disabling the ‘WP-Glossary Widget’.
Then I reactivated, and all seems fine. I just have to deactivate it if I need to alter widgets.

Dont’ know if this is a WP-Glossary issue, or the Social Media Icons issue….I will post this report on the other developers support page to see if anyone notices this same issue and has an ‘idea’ for me? (other than the flip-flop deactivation method I found).
    Thanks,

Fyi-reply from the other plugin developer:

Thanks for bringing this up.  At a glance, it looks like the WP Glossary plugin has overridden the tooltip feature native to WordPress.  This, in turn, has caused an error with Social Media Icons plugin.  I think it’s worth mentioning to the author of the WP Glossary plugin

    WordPress doesn’t have ‘native tooltips’?

Sorry, I don’t have time to look into this conflict further at the moment.
