why no search bar

I have to agree that this causes me some grief too, though @electricfeet came up with a good solution:

Use Google with the text:
inurl:xxx "[theme:customizr]" site:wordpress.org/support/topic
changing xxx to your keyword.

Works for me.

This has the potential to highly reduce the number of questions that have already been answered.
