    Hi,

I have the plugin enabled and there are no popups created or assigned to pages but the Popup Maker’s CSS and JavaScript are still loaded on my pages.

Why do I need the PUM’s CSS and JS on pages where there are no popups? Shouldn’t they be loaded only when there are popups assigned?

@ddenev – Sorry for the delay, have been trying to get the latest version out for testing which we did this last week.

There are a couple reasons it could be forced on, popup maker shortcodes on the page content mainly.

That said by default it does scan and disable scripts if popups are not loading on that page. If that isn’t the case something is forcing it on.

In the latest version we moved all of our stuff into a single css/js file cached statically in your uploads folder.

That said hypothetically speaking, based on site optimization techniques if you were using any type of minification plugin for your assets you would want it loaded everywhere anyways. IE if its not on page A, and is on page B, that means they end up having to download all new static assets for the second page to load properly. Having assets unique on each page basically would negate any gains you got by using such tools if that makes since.

    Hope that helps.
