Why dont I have archives?

    did it just not install or what?.. I do n0t have the folder archives, do I have to create it?.. Its driving me a bit batty. I’ve tried looking up how to create archives, but the only thing I can find is how to edit archives, or make them better, not how to actually create archives. Could anyone help me?

    You don’t create archives, every post is “archived” in the database. WP just pulls posts from the archive/database to show on whatever page you are on.

    Well you wouldnt do. All posts are stored in the database not in folders.

    *sighs* I guess I am just not making sense then?
    I cannot view archives, I do not have that option, I get a 404 error everytime I try to access them. I cannot create a ‘more’ or ‘page’ on my posts’ quicktabs. I’ve tried everything I can think of to call my archives up, however its just not showing, it is again telling me that it doesnt exsist.

    Ahh.. okay, I needed to create the .htaccess file.
