WordPress & Dreamhost…i’ts just not fun to blog with you anymore…to hell with plugins 🙁
If you have a bad experience with your host, then change hosts. Dropping WordPress because of a bad host, is like refusing to go outside because you don’t like were you live…just move and go outside and enjoy yourself! 😉
If WordPress does what you want and you stop using it because of a bad host, then who are you hurting besides yourself? You’re certainly not hurting Dreamhost, or WordPress.org, for that matter.
Just get a new host and your wildest dreams will come true (paraphrased from Napoleon Dynamite) 🙂

You’r right Figaro… I actually do like WordPress and don’t want to skip them, just a lot of frustration blowing up right now because of too much blog downtime the latest week. I will send a feeback-mail to WordPress instead and hear what they suggest…I don’t know how to move my blog to a new host (a one-klick girl I am 🙂 but I guess a new host can help me….so that Napoleon Dynamites words comes througt..hi..hi Thanks again 🙂

I’ve worked on accounts at Dreamhost and I’ve not been very impressed. For a cheap, reliable, shared host, I like Bluehost. They’re not going to help you move your site, but once you get it there, it should run fine.
