I have same issue all my website showing the purchase value with Arabic character like “50,656.00 ุฅ.ุฏ” but in invoice pdf its turning to vertical rectangle for each Arabic character.

I don’t know why the Amiri font is causing problems with arabic characters. Hard to test, because unfortunately I can’t read arabic. Currently making an option to upload a font. Will let you know if it’s ready.
Hi Bas Elbers if you wanna support Arabic you should embed MPDF to your plugin,
Amiri font will not revolve problem , if you want show Arabic letter you can use DejaVu Sans font but Arabic letter will appear separated (and this another problem) ,best way to show Arabic correctly embed MPDF to your plugin

I’m testing it at the moment with DejaVu Sans and the letters appearing seperately as you said.
Don’t know how to solve this problem. Also they not seem to be the same.
