Why can't I upload a zip file theme?

    I am trying to install a theme (Chameleon) I purchased from elegant themes. I have tried to upload the zip file but when I select it to upload it then shows all the contents of the file rather than letting me just choose the whole file. What do I need to do to install correctly. The site is hosted by LCN and I used one click install to start the website.
