Why a plugin is not updated due to errors in PHP

    And example:

[19-Aug-2026 21:32:09 UTC] PHP Warning: Undefined property: WhichBrowser\Model\Browser::$name in /home/XXX/public_html/wp-content/plugins/login-lockdown/libs/utility.php on line 347

  • We tried to login in from a different computer and could not. We remote to our logged in computer, disabled and got in. We enabled and tried to go to it settings and the errored, so it’s left disabled.

Since we can use CSF, Fail2Ban and ModSecurity Tool to protect the login page, it might be time for us to move along. It’s risky as an IP change woulfd mean we’d have to contact our host for a whitelist.

    Hi,

We have pushed an update fixing the PHP warning. But for PRO related support please contact us through the plugin in the future as this forum is only for the free version. Thank you! 🙂
