Why a large logo on the Plugin Dashboard?

Instead of just the name, they chose to put a huge logo in the Plugin list. Why?

This is very bad and unnecessary. Why not take over the entire page? Logos should not be allowed on the Plugin listing.

If it was up to me, I would not have installed it for that reason.
