I just upgraded to 2.7. After the upgrade I can get to the admin panel but when trying to go to my homepage (www.fullerbits.com) I get a white screen and the browser just keeps loading, waiting, loading, waiting, …

I have tried all the solutions I could find out there (no plugins, reload files, enough php memory, etc…) and of course changed my theme to the default, which is where I saw the same white screen again. When I try to change my theme the pop-up window that normally shows the theme you clicked on is just a white page as well. I can activate the theme and it then shows as the them I am using in the dashboard.

I am able to get to all of the other pages on my site and they display fine with the new theme I selected, just not the homepage.

I fixed the issue. I had an index.html file in my root directory that redirected to index.php. Looks like 2.7 does not like that, worked fine in 2.6. I renamed the index.html file and now everything works as it should.

    Thanks rayfuller,

I had the same problem and it was driving me crazy. I renamed the index.html file and it started working. hope it stays that way. thanks, again
