• Once I log-in to my /wp-admin directory, it turns all white.

I’ve tried removing the plugins and removing the themes or whatnot and it’s not working.

I’ve pretty much tried all the tip I’ve found on here or through google. Is there any tips you guys might know of. btw, our wordpress is installed in the root.

  • al.morales,

Have you tried reinstalling the wp-admin folder from a fresh download? Also curious if this is a fresh install to begin with?

Have you just upgraded WordPress? Just installed it? Just added a new theme or plugin?

Last time I logged in was around August 22 or so. Everything was working fine for about 2-3 weeks, then one day I tried logging back in and it just happened.

So it’s not a fresh install. I installed the latest wordpress version at the time, didn’t add new plugin, all the plugins and themes were working fine.

Should I attempt a fresh install? if so how do I go about that?

Does the rest of the blog work ok? What’s the url?

it’s not showing up anymore. Haven’t touched anything so far, put back everything as it was when the problem started.

Is there anything suspicious in your index.php file in your wp-content folder?

well I downloaded the file and it wouldn’t let me open it and my anti-virus automatically targeted it with a virus.

Yeah, reckon that’s been hacked. 🙁

Read the following guides at the bottom for starters:
