Where to put Technorati Code

  • I’ve searched the forum and found incomplete advice. I’d appreciate newbie-friendly advice on where to put the technorati code that is generated when “claiming” a blog. The code that was provided to me is:
    <script type=”text/javascript” src=”http://embed.technorati.com/embed/2cxtidr2e.js”></script>

On looking through the forums I’ve seen advice that says:
    * put it in the sidebar
    * put it in the header and separate code in the sidebar
    * you cannot put it in like this, must edit it to a standard link.

I’m confused. If I want it to show up at the bottom of the sidebar displaying the technorati links and image what should I do?

FYI – running latest WP on a remote host with terrafirma-10 theme.

    Thanks

    Jim Mitchell

I havent looked at the theme files so this is a stab in the dark — but if you have a sidebar.php included with that theme, put it near the bottom of that. Be careful though, there is prolly a closing </div> in sidebar.php. If so, You will want to make sure you put it before that closing </div>.
