Where to put language files?

Hello, thanks for your work in Forminator plugin.

I am using it on a website in Italian language. In order to make it usable for italian users, I am generating it_IT language files (.po and .mo files) by using Loco Translate. It seems the translations do not get picked up.

Where are they assumed to be placed?
