Hello @macar0ni,
The [woocommerce_cart] shortcode generates all the essential parts of your cart, including the ‘Proceed to Checkout’ button. That the checkout button is missing may be due to a theme or plugin conflict on your site. It is pretty easy to check if that’s the case. To do it:
- Enable an unmodified, default WordPress theme such as Twenty Twenty or Storefront. If the problem resolves, the issue is your theme and you can contact your theme developer. Otherwise, proceed to the next step.
- Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce. If the problem resolves, re-enable plugins one by one until the issue returns.
- Click here to read more about theme and plugin conflict testing.
Placing a site under these conditions may be disruptive, so if you can create a staging copy of your site then testing can be done without impacting your visitors. If your host does not provide an easy way to set up a staging site, you might want to use something like the free WP Staging plugin.
Give that a try and if you still have the issue with all those plugins and your theme disabled, please let us know. Thanks!
We haven’t heard back from you, so I’m marking this thread as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
Hi, sorry for the delay, I just tested out 1) on my staging site and the Proceed to Checkout button appears with the other themes. We’re using WooCart by mythemeshop as the parent theme, but we’re using a child theme of it due to customizations. Do you happen to know how to contact them directly?
Hi @macar0ni
I am happy to hear that you found it, and should be easy to spot and fix it now!
You can try to reach out directly to mythemeshop for better assistance, or maybe your theme developer here:

My very best,
