What photoblog? With mine, I make a categories of photos and then add a photo per post.. better for SEO, search engines and also less complicated IMO.. but I am sure you could make a page and add photos and link to it.

I do know there are plugins that will help insert a picture into a post and make auto thumbnails when you upload a picture.. but I am not exactly sure if this is what you mean?
