Hello! Have found several references to the new “Sharing” section of the Dashboard, but I do not see it under the Settings menu.

The defaults listed on the example are:
    – General
    – Reading
    – Writing
    – Discussion
    – Media
    – Privacy
    – Open ID
    – Sharing
    – Domains
    – Webhooks

    On my dashboard there is:
    – General
    – Reading
    – Writing
    – Discussion
    – Media
    – Privacy
    – Permalinks
    – Google Analytics

Is this a version difference? Plugins that need installing? Settings elsewhere on the Dashboard? I’m curious about all the “missing” options from mine, but the most pressing is the Sharing option.

Point me in the right direction? Thanks!

  • I believe that is either a plugin or a wordpress.com feature. This is wordpress.org, the self maintained self hosted solution 🙂

you are comparing wordpress.com and wordpress.org

this forum is for wordpress.org self-hosted software

    wordpress.com hosted sites are different

Well, at least this is the right forum for my site. It’s self hosted. Feh. Ok, thanks for the help!

sure…. depending on what behaviour you’re looking for exactly…there is most likely a plugin availabale.
