• Have seen a lot of discussions on editing the php.ini to allow the uploading of bigger file sizes.

Do you guys know where I can find the file? I’ve tried the wp-admin folder in the server already, but couldn’t find it from there. I’m using WordPress Version 2.7

  • php.ini is NOT a wordpress file. Its a configuration file for PHP.

If you dont see one, its because you havent created one.

And, just a reminder, as this is mentioned in other references to it — NOT all hosts allow you to use a custom php.ini.

Thanks. Where will I be able to find within my own webhost?

I am noob at this stuff but it usually is found in /etc/php.ini or /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini
