Where do recipes get stored?

    Where does the recipe data that gets inputted to the MealPlannerPro window get saved? I can’t find a place in my dashboard.

    I’m asking because Yummly stopped supporting/updating its recipe plugin, and people who used it have lost their recipes, with only the shortcodes that used to refer to the recipes appearing on their blogs. I’d rather not all my data disappear if I start using MealPlannerPro and for some reason the company stops supporting its WordPress plugin.

    And don’t worry, it’s not personal. I’m asking other recipe plugins the same thing.

    They stopped supporting their plugin with no notice? That is odd.

    Your recipe info is stored on your server and in your database. The shortcode simply points to where each recipe is stored. If the shortcode still appears then everything should be fine. A new plugin can use these shortcodes to find and display the recipes again.

    I don’t know all the details about what happened with the Yummly plug in. I’m just going for what I have read on they’re WordPress support forum.

    Thanks for letting me know. As long as there are files on my server that I can find, I’m not worried.
