You can go ahead and install WordPress and then integrate bbPress.
You can import data from another forum and theme shouldn’t be a problem at all.

I want to leave my current website up and running = http://www.origional.com
I will open a new website called http://www.new.com and download the new WP and associated bolt ons. I will then build my new site and import the data from http://www.origional.com when completed.
I will then close down http://www.origional.com, but transfer the name over to the http://www.new.com site.
Will i have any problems doing this.

You should not have any problems with the 1st two para’s of your note.

Currently i have a website run by phpbb.
I am opening a new hosting package and building the new word press site from here. this will be a under a temporary name.
so when this is complete i will move my current website name over to the new wordpress domain.
does this make sense ? The new hosts give you a free name you see, so i may as well use it initially and then transfer in my original website name which has been going for 1 1/2 yrs.
This might be a bit off topic for current thread but I am struggling to set a theme I bought onto wordpress. Am new to this. Any ideas? Frustrated.
