Hi guys, I am trying to setup filters with Woocommerce, currently in Kiosko theme and when I filter anything, it says no products match the current filters, what do I do? I have already tried several forms of troubleshooting including disabling most of my plugins, doubling my page load time. Thanks everyone!

    Hi @smoeast,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing the details of the issue you’re experiencing with filters in your WooCommerce store using the Kiosko theme. I tested and noticed the error message “Sorry, but nothing matched your search terms. Please try again with some different keywords.”

To better understand and help resolve the problem, could you please let me know:

    • How are you adding the filters to your site? Are you using a specific plugin or the built-in WooCommerce layered nav widgets?
    • Are the filters based on attributes, categories, price, or other criteria?
    • Have you customized any product attributes or taxonomies that may affect filtering?
    • I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share your System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce → Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here. You could copy and paste your reply here or paste it via https://gist.github.com/ and send the link here.

In the meantime, here are some general steps you can try:

    • Ensure your products are set to “Public” and “Catalog/Search” visibility so they appear in search results.
    • If you are using any search enhancement plugins (like WooCommerce Product Search or a third-party search plugin), try re-indexing your products.
    • Try different or broader search terms to confirm if the issue persists across all searches or is specific to some terms.
    • Sometimes, the theme or other plugins can interfere with search functionality. You might want to temporarily switch to a default theme (like Storefront) and disable other plugins to check if the search works properly: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/.

Let me know how it goes.

    Hi @frankremmy,

I am using the built-in WooCommerce layered nav widgets, I am filtering by attribute, the attribute I am using to filter is an existing attribute, not one created specifically for each product.

    Status report is here: https://gist.github.com/smoeast/b121efe3c3429981b132f716f941d9e0

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi there!

Thank you for sharing the system status report. I checked your site and noticed that you are using the Product Filter block on the homepage. Currently, the Product Filter block (filter by attributes) does not work properly on the homepage — it only works on other pages. Our developers are already working on a fix for this issue. Here is the GitHub report: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/42351

I recommend keeping an eye on that thread, and you may also leave a comment there so our developers can review it further and work on a fix as soon as possible.

Here is an article that explains how to use the Product Filter block on other pages:

Hi @shahzeenfarooq, thanks! Now that I added to the shop page and removed it from home, it works now.
