Your source for a grid is any database table you have in you WP-installation.
Or… you can attach any array if you buy the pro version of phpgrid.org.
For example, I use it for Pods-tables… 🙂

Yes, to show arrays I think you need the premium version of phpgrid.org.
I’m using pods for backend to the grid in a production environment and it works alright.
But I should recommend you to take a look at jqWidgets… Perhaps we could have a private chat about the reasons to that? Skype, [ redacted ]
