I have yet to dl wp. If I do, I would use the most current version. That seems logical. Correct me if I’m wrong.

I have already created a site using Weebly. I love it. User friendly is key! And.. It is. That said, as we grow, learn and build, it changes how we’d like to see things on our websites. With Weebly, I’ve run into a sang I can’t get around. So, I’m looking for other options. Something, I can use, myself.

I have a store. I upload my own pics, description, cost and created categories and subs as need.

    What I would like:

I want to charge a flat rate, time restricted fee for ‘members sellers’.

I want for the member sellers to be able to: Upload their own item. Add description, pricing and choose the category already created. Without providing access to the back end of my site! I don’t want someone to delete all content if they were a mind to do so. Simply have an area on the site that allows them to do as I’ve suggested and submit. The submission then ends up on the site, looking like I posted it myself.

I want to provide a membership log in for ‘all’ users. Sellers and buyers. This way we all know we belong to the community. There is no fee for buyers.

I would like to employ a commenting system. One that can be used for each item viewed. When the item page is open ie: The buyer can offer a price>the seller is alerted. Reverse: > When the seller comments the buyer is alerted.

I would like to have a PM system. Where buyers and sellers can exchange conversation.

I’ve looked at many aspects of WordPress. What I’ve discovered is that if you know coding etc., you can make a plugin. Well, there are thousands it seems..of plugins/widgets available. O-m-gosh!

Keeping in mind I would like not to turn things into a complicated situation-what are your suggestions, if any?

Also, if not mistaken I can import my Weebly site to WordPress? I hope that’s a yes, lol. I’d really like not to take it from the top!

I have registered a site map to google. I have my own domain name registered. I have pointed the site correctly-for now. < Just some FYI on a few other things.

So, if we take this on one at a time it would make it a LOT simpler for moi. I’m just trying to get a handle on things and need educated guidance.

If you have any ‘keep it simple’ suggestions I could employ using WordPress plugins/widgets, I’d truly appreciate your input.

Thanks for taking the time read. I hope you can help.
