This is the reply I got from w3-edge.com:
“we haven’t made a formal announcement yet because we’re waiting on our partner to make it first. The pro version unlocks the fragment cache, which can be used to increase the performance of the transient API in WP. Additionally extensions have been added to the core plugin, the first of which we have made is for users of the genesis framework – the extension reduces the time to generate pages on the genesis framework by 30-60%.”
