    These Things

    You’ll find them in slideshows and sliders a lot. I like the look of them and would like to use them as buttons on my homepage to link to other pages. I’m trying to find plug-ins that have those things, but I don’t know what to search.

    I don’t think they have an official name. I usually see them called navigation dots or something like that. They are often done either with a background image or a bordered element with a hefty border radius applied to make a circle.
