actually I had the issue on my localhost too, so it’s not linked to wpengine
I’m pushing out some fixes now. can you update, then look at what the return is in Firebug? I am not sure why it would be returning your entire site.

3 months passed and no solution for this issue? I installed this plugin, it’s working fine on localhost but not on server. I’m having the same problem right now. My site is hosted with Hostgator.
I deactivated all plugins and then changed the theme to default but plugin does not work.
