gallery plugin

I hesitate to ask, because I know the “before posting here…” page mentioned about visiting specific plug in pages…. but since I dont know what specific plugin I should use, I’ll roll the dice here

there are an abundance of animated/fancy tile gallery plugins. I dont want anything fancy. I just have a few images, for a few of the pages on a site, and want it to scroll through them on the homepage. and be clickable, to take a user to the page displayed. what is the simplest, most bare bones plugin to accomplish this?
