What causes the CSS changes in WP Comments?

Just thought I’d put it out there and ask what causes the WP Comments area’s CSS to be all weird?
You can see from that example that I originally had ‘pretty’ styles and now they’ve gone the way of the Dodo.
Is this something that can be sorted once it’s identified? I do like my ‘pretty’ 🙂
