What am I doing wrong here?

I can’t see to get anything to sit next to my header. My sidebard for instance, will only sit underneath. Check it out:

I want the sidebar to sit flush with the top of the page, but it just sits at the top of the header. Even if I remove FCG, it’ll only sit as high as the bottom of the header.

Any idea what I’m doing wrong?

Also, as a bonus, if anyone can tell me how to place one of my sidebars on the other side of the page, I’d be really grateful.

Oh, and as a bonus bonus, if anyone could tell me how to make the images on the front page link to the posts, rather than the images themselves, but to link to the actual image once you’re inside the post, that would be killer.

I’m using the Black Letterhead theme.
