What about drafts — and scheduled posts?

    In determining whether or not a media file is currently used, does this plug-in take unpublished drafts into account?

    And – how about pages, posts, and other such stuff that are scheduled to be published – but at a later date?

    Drafts and Scheduled Posts are considered as active posts 🙂 They are included in the scan.
