I’m genuinely sorry to hear that you faced challenges with the Lite version, particularly regarding the loss of leads. I understand how crucial that information is for you, and we apologize that this issue could not be addressed sooner.
I want to acknowledge that the Lite version does not currently support the storage of entries, and we understand the impact this can have on your workflow. We’ve tried to provide clear information about this limitation on the entries page, but I recognize that it may not have fully addressed your expectations.
Please note that the Lite version allows you to configure notification emails and set a custom recipient to receive the data once a form is submitted. I suspect that your notification settings might have been misconfigured if you did not receive any notifications.
If you can confirm that they were configured correctly, the issue is likely because the emails sent from your site are not authenticated (unlike emails sent directly from dedicated email service providers). As a result, they got filtered by the receiving mail server.
To ensure that this issue does not affect any other plugin from your site that sends email notifications, you can configure an SMTP plugin on your site so that emails are sent as authenticated. We have an article with a list of recommended SMTP options and links to their setup tutorials.
