    I have over 5 million rows on the above database.
    How can we reduce the size?

    I deleted and reinstalled afresh. Not sure if this is the right move.
    Please can you advise for future? Thank you

    Hi @cal28,

    Thanks for reaching out! The wftrafficrates table is normally cleaned up automatically by Wordfence every hour. Under normal conditions, it should only hold a small amount of data at any given time, so 5 million rows likely means the automatic cleanup isn’t running.

    This cleanup depends on WordPress cron jobs. If cron isn’t running on your site, the table will keep growing. You can check the status of your cron jobs under Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics > Cron Jobs.

    Reinstalling Wordfence would have cleared the table, but if the cron issue isn’t resolved, it will grow again over time. I’d recommend checking your Diagnostics page for cron status, and if it looks like cron jobs are overdue, reaching out to your hosting provider to make sure WordPress cron is running properly.
