Well on desktop I don’t see any strange characters or blank social icons as I do on your screenshot. You running some ad blocking type software on your mobile?

Bizarrely, it only happens when coming from Google, not when visiting the /amp link.
I’ve tried on three phones now and it’s the same. Missing search/menu symbols and those weird red Chinese-looking symbols in the categories.
If you google ‘Press Start Australia’ on a mobile, it should give you the news results with AMP that you can click on.
