    Hi
I have an odd behaviour with one of our forms:
The notification e-mails to both sender and site owner arrive as they should, but the “from” e-mail address is wrong.
In the form (Email notification > Advanced > From e-mail) I have entered the site owner’s e-mail, but in the e-mails I get when testing, the from e-mail is something totally different. It is an address that belongs to the domain, but with my wife’s name before @.
Confusing also for other users, so – ideas?
    Thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I tried to build a new form (quite like the first), but same problem…

    Hello @kjetilgf

I hope you’re well today and thank you for your question!

First, could you please check settings of “From Headers” on “Forminator -> settings -> General” page to see if that address is, perhaps, used there?

If that’s not a case – is this address used anywhere on site in places such as:

    – as an “Administration Email Address” (WordPress “Settings -> General” page)?
    – an administrator account?
    – any SMTP plugin installed on site and configured to use this e-mail as e-mail delivery?

    Best regards,
    Adam

As simple as that – thank you!
It never crossed my mind that a general setting could override a single-form setting. Honestly I do not think this is logical, – so you might consider changing it. Also since Forminator otherwise works so well 🙂
    Thanks

PS I’ve checked with previous submissions from other forms (not in use anymore) on the same site – same “mysterious” sender
