Weird Permalink issue

    I’ve been having issues with my wordpress site that started this week.
    Let me say, I DID NOT change the permalink struture before this started happening.

    I could not preview my posts or view them after they were posted.

    I noticed today in the admin mode my posts were using the ?p=512 (default) permalink structure however my settings were for date.

    I change the permalink struture back to the default and now I can view my posts in admin mode and in normal mode.

    I’m not a big fan of this type of permalink but atleast I have some functionality.

    Now my big issue is that ANY post I make will not not show up as a recent post. It shows up at the bottom of my posts.

    Any ideas?

    Also, I cannot switch back to any permalink structure but the default otherwise I cannot look at my posts.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems.

    – renaming the plugins folder via FTP
