Weird Permalink Error on New Posts

This issue is intermittent, and not sure what causes it. I created a new post, and before hitting the ‘publish’ link, I changed the permalink from the full post title to just “own-home” – then hit ‘save’ at the permalin line to commit the change.

After I published, I noticed that the permalink was saved as “own-hom” (minus the last letter). This has happened a couple of times before, but had thought it was my typing error. When I went back into the post to change it, my FireFox’s autocomplete box showed me that I had indeed originally entered “own-home.”

Anybody else run into this?
