Weird Password Notification Error even when password is entered correctly

Hello

We have a custom registration form in the checkout process for this site. It’s all working great so far, we just have one snag that I haven’t found a solution for yet.

Whenever you hit submit, you get the following three error messages:

Invalid email address.
Empty password.
Password should not match with Username or Email address

However, those three errors are incorrect, and seconds later the notification goes away and the user is successfully registered.

I am unsure what has caused this bug. Any one have any insight?

I am wondering if maybe it is a conflict with other plugins being used on the site (unfortunately the client has added a lot of plugins). I am wondering if any of these have caused issues with this plugin in the past?

I have a similar issue:

The notification disappear a second later and the user register then. If you find a solution or a way to debug the form, please let a message, I will do the same if I get it first 😉

Hi @yordansoares @austinets,

If you have used an HTML form field in the form then, that must be causing this issue. We tried to replicate it in our test environment and found that there was a but with the HTML field which was triggering this error. However, the bug has been fixed and we will be releasing an update regarding the fixes very soon. Please look for it. For the time being, you can use other fields or a single-line text field to achieve what you want to.

@sharmadpk03 We are only using single-line text fields and are not using any html fields within the form.

Any solid ETA on when we can expect the update?

Hi @austinets,

Thank you for the confirmation but we are not getting any error with the single-line text field. Though, we will test that again. And if everything goes as planned, the update will be released within this week.

Maybe a identical copy of the form may helps you to determine the issue. I used the User Registration tool for export the form with the issue displayed above, here is the code:

We ended up having to switch to a different plugin.

Hope the bug eventually gets fixed.
