    The website: http://personacentral.com/

It had been functioning properly using theme ‘twentyfourteen’ until just now, when I went to Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme. I didn’t select any file after that and closed the prompt, yet my whole website disappeared. Now, on the “Add Themes” page is the following header:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/content/48/11313348/html/wp-admin/theme-install.php on line 31

Warning: array_keys() expects parameter 1 to be array, boolean given in /home/content/48/11313348/html/wp-admin/theme-install.php on line 53

When I click on Appearance, the page looks odd with a bunch of “false” values, and the header is:

ERROR: The theme directory “twentyfifteen” does not exist.

What happened? Can I fix this?

  • Re install the theme

Manually go to the folder using cpanel file manager or ftp client

    html/wp-content/themes/twentyfifteen/

make a backup and delete the folder.

    Then
download a new copy of the theme from:
    https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyfifteen

upload the theme folder using ftp or cpanel file maanger to the same location

    and try again

Can you please tell me where I can find a theme file in the cpanel file manager? I’m looking all over, and I can’t find any wp-content location for themes.

When I go to install a new theme via WordPress, it asks for Hostname, FTP Username, FTP Password and Connection type with the following prompt:

To perform the requested action, WordPress needs to access your web server. Please enter your FTP credentials to proceed. If you do not remember your credentials, you should contact your web host.

I’ve tried entering the proper entries, but it just says “Failed to connect to FTP server.”

AH, now I can’t access wp-admin, either. It says:

Warning: require(/home/content/48/11313348/html/wp-includes/load.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/48/11313348/html/wp-settings.php on line 21

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/content/48/11313348/html/wp-includes/load.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php5_3/lib/php’) in /home/content/48/11313348/html/wp-settings.php on line 21

I’m pretty much panicking right now.

    Don’t panic! Doesn’t help.

You need cpanel access to your site. Sign in using your hosting company site.

Some hosting companies have inbuilt file manager. Please tell if you have FTP access and credentials or not.

If wp-content is not there, there might be something wrong with your wordpress installation.

YOu can always reinstall wordpress by using your hosting panel

Thanks for your help, I figured out my issue. You were correct about there being something wrong with the files, and I had to restore both the wp-content and wp-includes folders in my cpanel file manager, which went missing for some reason.
