websitename.com/wordpress? Weird problem. | WordPress.org

For some reason, my new wordpress blog (hosted by godaddy) only shows up on energezer.com/wordpress. I’d like it to show up on energezer.com. Please let me know if you’ve had this issue, and how to fix it. Thanks!

Since your WP site is ALREADY in its own folder, you can skip step 6.

Still having trouble. I can’t seem to find .htaccess. Is this doable in the godaddy file manager?

.htaccess is sometimes hidden — your FTP software may or may not show hidden files. If you’re using Filezilla, check “Force showing hidden files” under the Server menu option.

I’m not familiar with the GoDaddy file manager but it’s worth a shot to see if the .htaccess file is showing there.
