    Sorry for all the questions…

My final one for today is regarding the title of my blog. On my old theme it showed in the tab on chrome ‘the everyday man’ but on this theme it displays the title of my most recent post in the tab. Can this be changed?

  • I installed the theme and it works fine… looking at your source code it looks like yoast SEO is causing it.

I activated yoast on my test install and it works as expect. Please look at your yoast title settings

    Thanks for replying.

When I go into Yoast in the ‘Home’ section is displays:

    Homepage & Front page
You can determine the title and description for the front page by editing the front page itself »

My site title is down at ‘The Everyday Man’ I have double checked this?

    Any ideas?

I have managed to correct this one.

It was due to the face in appearance – customize – I have selected ‘statis front page’ instead of latest posts.

Not sure why this made a difference but changing it over seems to have worked.

Yeah I did test this as well but mine worked – so didn’t mention it here… odd but glad it is resolved… don’t forget to mark topic as resolved
