Website Theme – NO BLOG!!!

    Can anybody suggest a theme that IS NOT A BLOG!
    I am getting sick of trawling through wordpress themes, loading up ones that look good only to find it is all about blogging!
    I want an ordinary website with INFORMATION on it not a whole bunch of posts!
    The nearest thing I want to come to a post is a website news update and that’s it.
    Any ideas anyone?

    You can make any theme a non-blog theme. Just go to Settings → Reading and select a static page to be your front page. You don’t have to have a blog page.

    OK, I got a static page but perhaps I have picked the wrong theme. I am still stuck with the little centre blog post area eve if I switch off the sidebars.
    Also, I can only have slider photos if they have already been attached to a blog post.
    I need to look for another theme that caters more for website rather than blog development.
    Or perhaps stop before I go too far and learn how to use Drupal.
