Website stopped displaying EVERYTHING

    My site has been up and running for a year and a half perfectly. I just now updated Minamaze and went to check that everything still looked good and I have lost most of the site. It exists on the pages but virtually all the text, graphics, mobile menu, EVERYTHING is not visible on the site. I reverted to a previous theme version to see if that was the problem but nothing is visible still.

    I backed up the site right before (WP Engine).

    UPDATE: The WP Engine backup reversion worked for me to restore the site to working order but it seems that it was the theme that was the problem. If I want to update Minamaze I don’t want to lose my site again so how should I start to figure out what the problem was? Because it affected everything I’m not sure how to begin.

    I looked deeper through past posts and found this:

    Please ensure you update any theme files in your child theme to be compatible with the latest theme version. In this particular case, in your child theme remove the function thinkup_input_sliderpage() in header.php. This function was removed in the latest version of Minamaze Pro.

    Which works!
