• Hello guy,

This is driving me crazy now.

I am trying to install an e-Commerce plugin and everything is fine during installation, it’s when I hit the active button the website goes into a white background and do not load at all. If I try to go to the admin page it does the same thing white background.I have used different browsers, Safari and Chrome.
I tried couple of plugin thinking their might be a problem with the plugin it self. Also tried WP e-Commerce but still same problem. I have tried different version of WordPress and still can’t get it to work.

    Help please.
    Thanks

  • It seems that the plugin you are using is conflicting with something else. I would recommend you to contact the author of the plugin and tell him about it. I.e. prepare a list of all the plugins you already have installed, what theme you are using and also if you have any other non default settings.

If you want to find for yourself, start by disabling all plugins, switching to WordPress default theme and enable the e-commerce plugin. If it works, start enabling the other plugins one by one until you find the culprit.

I just reinstalled WordPress on a new subdomain and uploaded the plugin via FTP. I clicked on activate and it did the same thing. I deleted the plugin file via ftp and reloaded the page and it worked again. I have tried with 3 other e-Commerce plugin and i keep getting the same thing. 1- WP e-Commerce 2- WooCommerce and I can’t remember the 3rd one.

    Any ideas

So you mean the plugin does not even work with a vanilla install of WordPress, i.e. without any other plugins and default theme?

In that case contact your hosting provider since it might be something related to the setup rather than the software itself.
