Website offline after restore

    I’ve updated my theme and after that my startpage wasn’t working fine.
    I decided to restore my backup created today morning.

    The restore said it was successful but now the website isn’t available.
    When opening the site ffw-gerstetten.de you’ll read: error connecting database
    I’ve googled what to do and found several pages which are all meaning to put the line define(‘WP_ALLOW_REPAIR’, true); in my wp-config.php file. That doesn’t help.
    Also I’ve tried to repair the database with the myPhpAdmin without success.

    Please help!

    error connecting database

    This usually means that your database connection details in wp-config.php don’t point to your MySQL server; or that the MySQL server is down.
