    Did you test your posts/pages with “fetch as Google” to see what Google actually sees?

    Yoast can help you, but it can’t do everything, unfortunately 🙂

    The cached version of your about page shows that Google received your new description. Ultimately Google will, as you have seen, make the final decision on what they show in their search results. Due to this being handled on Google’s end, there is little you can do to force Google to display the preferred description. The best advice I can provide, unfortunately, is to try different descriptions. This article provides advice on creating the right description for your site.

    i did not resubmit my sitemap. should i?
    i have looked at what google see and it is the same as what my clients see. the problem is google naming my website incorrect in searches. how do i fix it ?i has sorta worked but it is still showing up.
