Have you discussed this with your ISP and your hosting provider?

Hello Tara
Thank you for answering.
I am actually on live chat with them now and it seems they have a maximum page view or page eight per month (had no idea) and therefore removed it from somewhere called Akamai? I have no idea what/who they are other than iPage who are the hosts.
If this is how it works with them I want to take my domain away and start fresh with someone else. Is it possible for me to do some kind of transfer, suitable for a beginner like myself?
Thank you for any advice in advance

I have just finished with the so called support team who offered me know support whatsoever and refuse to answer my question about their page view limits.
So, if and when my site is back up (they said 1-12 hours), I will try and follow the instructions in the Moving WordPress link you kindlyprovided.
Thanks again Tara

Some hosts might offer you help in moving your site or have tools for you to use.

Good evening kmessinger
Thank you for your response.
I doubt these hosts will be forthcoming from their lack of support so far.
Yet, after getting quite upset, the iPage live chat person who was being so matter of fact seemed to do a 360 turn after I said I felt it best to transfer away from Akamai as they do not meet my needs.
He then told me that once my site is back up, I will have no future issues and will only be dealing with iPage going forward.
After this experience though, I am not sure I believe him 🙁
All I want to do is share my ‘stuff’ through my simple blog and just wish things were less complicated for beginners/novices such as me.
