Website loading very slow

Hello,

Before I begin, let me let you know that I am not a programmer but I am in need of immediate help for someone to help identify the cause for the slowness and resolutions which can help resolve this issue.

My website is http://www.satnam.com and I have a shared hosting plan through Lunarpages.

I recently hired a firm to upgrade my website with a new look and content and they used WordPress. I believe the old site was html based and the new site if php based. Ever since the new site has been hosted, it has been taking almost 15-20 seconds to load every page. Netspeed has been tested and there is no issue with that. I have been constantly seeking guidance from the firm on why it is taking so long to load and they are unable to give me a concrete reason.

Any help or advise on this matter will be greatly appreciated.
