First and foremost try to identify what is breaking things by just disabling CSS or JS or HTML or Image optimization (incl. lazyload). Based on that we can see what the next steps have to be.
frank
I enabled the plugin and then respectively disabled CSS and JS through Chrome extension Web developer, but the images would not display normally.
Sorry, I don’t know how to disable HTML and Image optimization.
I was referring to the Autoptimize settings, can you test those?
Sorry, I misunderstood.
I tested it for two rounds according to your prompt.
First-round,
I disabled one of them individually every time. Image display problem still exists
Second-round,
The first time, I disabled JS, CSS, and HTML, the problem exists.
The second time, I disabled image optimize and lazy load, the problem exists.
so no matter what Autoptimize options are on (and even with none active), the image do not show when AO is active?
do you have a non-production version of your site on which you could leave broken for me to investigate?
No, if I deactivate the plugin, images will appear normally.
My website is still in the construction stage, I can give you login permission if you can check it. Please send your email to retchvip@gmail.com

sharing login information if forbidden here retchvip, sorry, but if you enable AO now I’ll be happy to have a look at the frontend?
Sorry about the email thing.
I activated the plugin now.

I’m so sorry.
I just found that it’s a problem course by my bad VPN connection.
But I want to know why I can see images normally if I deactivate the plugin?
Well, when I checked you had “image optimization” on in AO, which sees the images loaded from the shortpixel CDN. My guess is that due to your VPN setup that domain simply did not work for you?
