Website hit with Malware

    Hello,

    Over the weekend my website got hit with Malware. When you goto my website a popup appears which takes you to hiot.tinhowsinutha.pro and tries to get you to install software. How do I remove this? I installed wordfence but it did not find anything. I contacted my host(bluehost) and all they did was offer their expensive security service which I can’t afford.

    Can anyone refer me to some good resources for getting this fixed? Wordfence has not found anything.

    Are you using the WP Live Chat plugin? if so disable and remove it.. there is a hack that was found last week that directly related to that plugins code.

    You bet. I am happy I was aware of that hack and able to provide the info. Your pages are all leading to 404 errors. I’d suggest re-saving your permalink settings under Settings → Permalinks

    Please tag this thread as resolved if everything else is back to normal after disabling and removing the plugin!

    I had my webost(bluehost) restore a previous version of my website as I was hoping it would remove the malware.

    WP Live Chat is deactivated and I am no longer seeing the problem. I have tagged this thread as resolved.
